It's kind of hard to justify starting a #2 RB on a team that isn't very strong at rushing, and hoping that he'll pull off a return TD. Even if you had Devin Hester in 2006, that was only 6 TDs over a 16-game season and not worth the risk.

Curry has Daunte Culpepper throwing against a bend-don't-break San Diego defense that gives up a lot of yards before stopping a team in field goal range or getting a deep turnover (see week 5 in Denver). Also, most teams who play against the Chargers abandon the run and pass about 70% of the plays. So, Curry should see plenty of looks and rack up the yards.

Curry might not see the end zone this week. But, I think he'll be good for about 80 yards. With Washington, you might get 25 or 30 yards and a long-shot at a return TD.

I would go with Curry.

Leon Washington - if you get points for return yards.

If not, Ronald Curry is your guy. The Raiders have a tough game against a revitalized Charger team. They will be looking for the win to dethrown the first place Raiders. There should be a lot of scoring and Curry will get a lot of looks.

I'd say you have a problem either way. But, I'd go with Washington myself.

The Raiders are just bad and I bet Culpepper looks bad in this game. Washington on the other hand has nothing changing and should continue to do what he has been doing.
