Savannah proclaims they are the most haunted city in the nation. I live an hour away and they have nightly hearse tours of the old graveyards and old plantation homes. The enviroment really helps to create a creepy feeling especially at night. Charleston, also an hour way from me, has alot of history and haunted places. One place is called Poogan's Porch, which actually made the top ten most haunted places in an A&E show. Police no longer respond to calls reporting a woman stuck in that building. They know it's just the ghost everyone sees. Pretty interesting.

The Myrtles Plantation, near Baton Rouge Lousiana boasts being the most haunted either. It's a bed and breakfast now, but there were a number of suspicious deaths and murders and at least a dozen or so active hauntings there.

Salem Massachusetts, I've heard alot of things about haunted stuff tehre...also, I can't remember teh anmes of the places, but just watch Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi, thay go to alot of cool haunted places...

The most haunted place ive been to is in Charlston South Carolina at a place called bull dog they have tours everyday at old prisons, hotels,etc. It is really scary!!!!
