Is it now pelosi's wire taps?

I believe the program is for electronic surveillance of conversations involving suspected terrorists.

In a world where cell phones can be bought, used and disposed of very easily, wiretaps are of very limited use. As are judicial warrants, which have not been required for enemy surveillance in wartime anyway.

Maybe the Democrats have come to their senses, at least for a moment.

I'm not a lib and I feel betrayed. By both parties. How can a government, that has allowed 12 million foreigners to enter our country through open borders, hold any claim to legitimacy when they tell us that the world is such a dangerous place that we have to be monitored. Any fool can understand that a terrorist could simply walk across our border.

I wonder how many people in Burma were told that they had nothing to fear if they weren't doing anything wrong? The biggest threat to the civil liberties, of any people, is their own government. Traditionally conservatives understood that and never allowed the government to even come close to violating the Constitution.

Conservatives are the traditional defenders of the US Constitution. God help us, because today's conservatives don't even know what conservative means.

Yeah give me some more thumbs down. You little neocon trash. Traitorous scum!

Liberals are just people who during the college experience are fed lies and half truths... libs are natural ignorant to what makes a country work... and just ignorant in general... kids who protest and think they are doing good when they have little knowledge of what they are fighting and without listening rationally to the counter arguement.

Come on. If you're not doing anything wrong then it shouldn't be an issue. I feel the security of our country is a lot more important than the govt. listening in to my conversation about nothing with my girlfriend.
