The angle of the earth (the tilt) leads certain areas to be closer to 90 degrees incident of the light striking the earth. The light rays coming from the sun are usually hitting the equator directly head on and the northern and southern regions at an angle making them cooler areas. When the earth tilts, one hemisphere tilts more towards the sun and therefore the light rays hit that hemisphere more head on and makes that hemisphere heat up and the other hemisphere moves away from being hit directly head on. It's not the distance it moves away but the angle at which the light hits. Just like getting hit with a baseball head on will really hurt but getting hit at an angle is less damaging. Solar eclipse is when the moon sits inbetween the Earth and the sun and the sun is blocked out. A lunar eclipse happens when the moon is behind the earth and the shadow of the eart passes over the moon and the moon is blocked out.

When the earth orbits the sun, it spins around for 24 hours a day, and is tilted. As it orbits the sun, depending on where it is, each part of the earth gets a different amount of sun, causing day, night, winter, summer, fall, etc. Because the earth's orbit isn't a circle, but an oval, it gets farther and closer to the sun also causing warmer or cooler temperatures.
A solar or lunar eclipse is just a rare instance when the sun or moon are in line, and cover each other up.

It is customary to keep the temples closed during eclipse. The devotees can not enter and worship God during the entire period of eclipse. Let us know why this custom is followed. friend, many scholars have already said a lot about the question you asked. I would like TO ADD THAT THE SREE KAALAHASTI TEMPLE NEAR TIRUPATI IS ALSO NOT CLOSED DURING ANY ECLIPSE DAY, THE REASON BEING THERE SHIVA WEARS THE NAVAGRAHAAS AS A BELT AT WAIST.SO NO GRAHAM CAN DO ANY THING, THE ELDERS SAY. Eclipse, either lunar or solar, is regarded as impure and spoiled. The shadows formed due to eclipse make the temples desecrated. According to Hindu mythological beliefs, the spoiling starts well before the commencement of eclipse, and lasts till it is concluded. It is also believed that on visiting the temple during eclipse, wickedness grows and virtuousness diminishes. The temples open only after proper rituals are performed and after proper cleaning. There is a scientific reason also behind this, science says that during the course of eclipse certain ultraviolet rays and soft x-rays emitted from the corona of Sun, which are harmful. In India the temples are kept closed to prevent the masses to come out of their houses, thus avoiding the harmful effects of eclipse.

the earth's seasons caused byt he axis's tilt all depends on if the earth is facing the sun. if it is facing the sun, your season is summer. away from the sun and you have winter. ect. as for the lunar and solar eclipse: that is caused by the moon being in front of the sun blocking the sunlight from shining on earth. hope this helps!

THIS IS NOT A GOOD MEDIUM TO DESCRIBE AXIAL TILT BUT I WILL TRY . THE EARTH IS TILTED ON ITS NORTH SOUTH AXIS ABOUT 23 DEGREES AND 26 MINUTES AND IS ALWAYS TILTED THE SAME WAY IN RELATION TO THE SUN SO THAT DURING THE SHORTEST DAY OF WINTER IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE THE SUNS RAYS AT NOON ARE STRIKING AT AN AREA 23 DEGREES AND 26 MINUTES SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR CAUSING LONGER DAYS IN THE SOUTH AND SHORTER IN THE NORTH. ON THE LONGEST DAY OF THE YEAR IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE THE SUNS RAYS STRIKE THE SAME DISTANCE NORTH OF THE EQUATOR. THIS KEEPS THE EARTH TILTED TOWARD OR AWAY FROM THE SUN DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR GENERALLY ONE CAN SAY WHATEVER IS OCCURRING IN ONE HEMISPHERE THE OPPOSITE IS HAPPENING IN THE OTHER.
