The purpose of Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week is as simple as it is critical: to confront the two Big Lies of the political left: that George Bush created the "war on terror" and that global warming is a greater danger to Americans than global jihad and Islamic supremacism.
Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week is a protest against the censorship that has come to America, and whose chief enforcer is the progressive left.

caliguy_30 - Very few if any well read conservatives will argue whether or not Global Warming is reality or not. I for on acknowledge it as a reality. However, what I question is whether it is man made or not.
Regardless, we won't have time to worry about carbon footprints and florescent bulbs if we don’t confront the most current threat which is “radical” Islam.
It’s called prioritizing sir.

caliguy_30 - I don't see anywhere where I attempted to tie this in with the BATTLE in Iraq (it's not a war, it is a battle in the larger war) You made that association.
Iraq and terrorism have much in common and, no offense intended, if you don't already know that I am not going to spend hours trying to explain it to you. Educate yourself.

Notice I will not give a quick wisealleck lefty answer and go.
Not all the "progressive Left" is pro-Islam, especially in the USA just as all the,er, "regressive Right"(>?) is over suspicious of liberals.
1-Bush did not "create" the war on terror. His administration reacted to it innapropriately.
2-Many Americanized Western Liberals see the threat on terror, and in turn take a more isolationist stance that was once more acceptable among conservatives!
Remember that in 1989 Bush41 was agianst a full-scale invasion of Iraq. It was one judgement call, at least, that he got right. His son was quoted as being opposed to it as late as 1999. A plan designed by Rumsfeld and Cheney to build "enduring bases" in the Middle East was formed in 2001.
The response to 9-11 was to merely implement that 2001 plan, NOT to find and destroy Al Qaida. Yes, sometiomes war is inevitable in this world, but you must undersatnd there is a "Left" that sees a "Right" fooling its own people to justify a war that turns out to not in fact stop or help this war on terror.
As the Bush administration has frustrated Republicans by doing, hence the fiasco, and the fatalism, we have now.

am I keeping appraised as to the reality ?
yes, In regards to the war on terror the conservatives have failed their country.
they had years to get the job done, but instead they gave us the 'ol bait and switch.
we are the worlds only super power, but bush couldn't kill zawahri or bin laden
this may be the most important war this country has ever fought and what have we got to show for Six years of fighting, more than 500 billion spent and over 3,000 lives lost on our side ? almost Nothing ! we are still just getting started,
and not a very good start either
I think it's great that we are going to have a IslamoFascism awareness week. It's about time the majority of Americans held bush accountable for his massive failure.

Global warming is a fact and is a threat, you chose to ignore it that is fine. We also chose to ignore the aids virus when it started especially in Africa you can see the results. As for the war on terror you just answered your own question .... your link is about the truth about the middle east and Israel? what does that have to do with the war in Iraq? what does terrorism and Iraq have in common? NOTHING! ,,, therefore you make no point. The reality is that this war was wrong, that the war on terror was mishandled and mismanaged and exploited by the current administration, that global warming is a reality and we need to start acting now.
you ask are we keeping appraised as to the reality? I ask you are you keeping appraised as to the priorities?

Our soapy country with political correct leanings are beginning to take effect as we see groups like CAIR starting to carry political clout!!! the liberal press gives them way more ink than the real threat to our existence...MUSLIM EXTREMISM..and i think moderate Muslims are dragging along, on their coat tails!!! The threat is more than REAL!!
I was talking to my accountant this afternoon and she was telling me about her son who is in one of the Intel areas of our government!!
he mentioned to her of at least two very dangerous threats that were averted in the Los Angeles port area!! We used good techniques that stopped a REAL
threat to our people
Obviously he didn't go into detail..but I would like to know and i bet the country would and should know!!
We need to publicize in great detail, every threat that is wrought on our country

We do need to be reminded because if not we will be hit again harder.
I understand why liberals don't want to admit to it because they know all to well if people understood what was at stake they wouldn't have a chance come Nov 08.
So they create conpisparcies and smear tatics on generals and all those who dare to remind them of what we are facing.
I will submit a Christian Fascist once Christians conduct sucide bombing or fly planes into buildings or behead American on tape.
Tell then lets keep our eye on those who have come and kill us twice.
Once on 9/11 and the first attack on the WTC.

No such thing as Islamo-Fascism. As for the rest. Believe what you will. That is your right as a human being and a U.S. citizen. For now anyhow.
