normal size or not?

ok im 3months and 1 week pregnant and i recently took a picture of my belly but from a side view and it looks about the size of a grapefruit. is dat normal for 3 months?? and this is my first pregnancy and i was and still am slim (except for belly popping out) weighed 118 at last appt. and im 5ft 7in. tall. if that matters ....im asking htis cuz people are telling me i may be having a big baby cuz in there first pregnancy they didnt show til month 5 or 6 and im barely startign my fourth. so is that belly i have normal?

Thin people show earlier and size of grapefruit sounds about right. Babies at 3 months gestation are almost all the same size. Size differences usually start at the end of the 2nd trimester and into the 3rd.

Like so many things in pregnancy if it's happening then it's normal for you. Some women show quickly and some take forever to show. Some get sick, some feel fatigued, some get moody... some don't. All babies at this stage are very close in size so you can't really know yet how bit it will be. Enjoy your baby belly, you will look back on this time fondly!

Your probably just showing early because your so thin. The baby has to grow and so does your belly. Just because your showing early doesn't mean your going to have a huge baby :)

I personally think it's normal. Some women start showing earlier then others only. Like you, I started showing pretty early too, my family noticed it in my 2nd month, and strangers noticed it in my 3rd month. Some women don't show as much until later on in their pregnancy.

No one could tell I was pregnant until I was nearly 7 months.

Everything is normal in pregnancy, except bleeding and smelly discharge.
