Rocks and Fossils.?

I was working on my house and found an old rock with a very clear image of a fossil, (fish like) about 4 inches long. I hate to just throw it away. Someone might really be into this type of history. What can I do with it? I live in southwest Los Angeles area. Thank you.

Take it to the nearest University that has a Geology study Museum.or school.If they don't take it,or it has no value,frame it and hang it on your wall.A good conversation peace.
