I'm not talkin about white people with brown or dark brown skin. I'm talkin about BLACK PEOPLE. (the soul of a black person doesn't depend on the skin it depends on how proud you are of BLACK heritage and how much you know about BLACK history, and how you stand up and support fellow blacks with struggles in life(such as racism) THAT SHOWS PRIDE) You don't have to have DARK brown skin to be black in my book, you can be as white as snow :)

Ok didn't I just say above You don't have to have black skin to quailfy as black? YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE SOUL OF A BLACK PERSON, skin doesn't matter. I've only seen like 2 or 3 REAL blacks since I've been on here and THAT'S THE TRUTH

Where are the real people who stand up for the struggles of all people, regardless of skin color, religion, sexual preference, etc.
Those are the only true noble ones.
To most people, I'm just "Black." But I have an interest for Vietnamese, German, Polish, Native American and African history because my family is comprised of all of those.
I've always thought it was kind of dumb to only call yourself one thing when there is proof that you have the blood of other races. This is why I will definitely have a problem if my daughter calls herself black when she is black, vietnamese and german. She's denying part of herself.
Something I will never do. I have pictures of great great etc. grandparents and aunts who were white and Native American. That's a part of who I am. Just because I look "black" which is so generic to me, doesn't mean I only have African blood.
You should look into your family history, not just black history. You will probably find you are not 100% African and then you will be left with quite the dilemma having preached these sorts of things so many times before.
People need to seriously get over this race BS! Half the people talking don't even know anything about their family history, running around preaching (insert race) pride when they've got a (insert different race) ancestor tucked away on a picture in a chester drawer in their grandmother's attic.

KOO KOO is correct. You don't know who is who, and it really shouldn't matter. And I feel you should have said where are all the REAL PEOPLE on here, because there are other races agreeing with you besides black people.

How do you know who you have or haven't seen on this site? We don't know who is who on here. All we know is what people say and claim. You people who talk about all the users who pretend to be black or white crack me up, like you could possibly know. Making such claims is just an excuse to accuse one group of being more racist than the other. GROW UP!

Now if I said black as tar, how would that sit? double standards with some of you "non-racists".
Lina, seeing some of your other answers in the past you are a racist. Also what is your lame question or is it just a rant?

Black is a color... Not a race... I'm proud to be an African American with black skin... My best friend is Dominican, yet her skin is darker than mine... So I guess that does not qualify her to answer your question either, huh?

What are you trying to imply? They're here. Maybe you aren't looking hard enough. Wasn't there an earlier thread about your behavior?

I saw the question posted under topic and I rolled my eyes and thought it was really ignorant statement but then I clicked on the question and read what you had to say. You make a lot of sense. I'm white and from Detroit. Black culture is all around me and I support the positive regardless of what ethnicity brought it to be. I know more about slavery than most and it has affected every race or culture at one point in time through history. Everyone should be proud of who they are and know where they came from. Thanks for the AWESOME POST.
