Game works on laptop, but not on desktop, other games work but when i put it in the disc tray, almost as if game isn't there?! We know that the game isn't scratched and we know that the disc drive just isn't picking it up?! Help plz?! Cheers, :S

its xp not vista......i wouldn't dare run vista :P

If it is a new game, it will probably only work on Vista. If it is an older game, it probably won't work on Vista. Either way, Vista could be to blame.

Check the system requirements on the back of the case. It might not run on certain machines

Do you have Vista? That might be the problem.

did you try finding the disk drive on the pc then auto running from there just right click start go to explore and should be there
