I know mark David Chapman had serious mental issues, but do you think maybe he was put up to it, some kind of set up? Please let me hear your thoughts on this or any other theory relating to his death.

I think the guy was just deranged and, as he said, he wanted to be famous forever. Well he certainly achieved that but I don't think the US Government, dirty and untrustworthy as it is, would have stooped that low.

I met John Lennon in 1963 on February 19th. All the Beatles were great guys. John really couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. "We're just a rock band. " He said, "Just like any other." (Not quite John).

Happy birthday Babe. You were the greatest.

They didn't need to kill him. By the time he died, the world situation had moved on. He was still a great guy, but Carter had other issues to worry about by then. I don't believe that he was causing that much of a stir by then. We had KISS and Alice Cooper scarying people in the music world. By that time John was really just another great artists, but not as cutting edge as he had been.
