well, he is a liberal democrat.

he will do whatever, he thinks, will get him elected. being a liberal, he has no morals so it's not that difficult to understand why he refuses to wear it.

most democrats are socialists (BTW , most of them don't even know what that means) and against the war so he is appeasing to them.

If he were elected president (which will never happen) then he would govern by polls. Just like Bill Clinton. He would not be able to make his own decisions because not having any kind of moral base or self beliefs then it would make it, virtually, impossible. (note: saying you are a christian, muslum or a "religious man" does not make you one if you do not act upon it, thus he has no morals)

he would, pretty much, go with whatever CNN says in their doctored polls.

but like I said, he is a first term senator and him being elected is almost laughable so, really, the question is irrelevant.

He forgot to put it on and didn't want to admit that he's a klutz so he came up with this cock & bull story about not wearing the pin to be patriotic. The guy acts like a 5 year old.

He's trying to steal the kook fringe flag-hating left-wing vote away from Hillary. It's all politics.

Must there be some ulterior motive other than the perfectly reasonable explanation he offered? I'm not an Obama supporter, but come on. Not everything has some Machiavellian aspect to it.

EDIT: You've got to be kidding. Common Sense's answer? You believe that crap? LOL, okay, that explains a lot.

What a shame that this stupid thing will now get all the attention. Surely there is something you consider more important than whether or not a politician wears a flag pin?

As he said before the Christians a few days ago his faith is every thing.

He is a Muslim and this is all that matters to him.
Ask your self why no Muslims have put a fatwa on him for his so called conversion, it is a death sentence under Islam.

What are you looking for, anyway? Some "deeper" more "sinister" explanation.

Its...a...PIN! Get it? A PIN.

Are we now that lock-stepped into symbolism and metaphor that we "require" people to display flag symbols and/or ribbons to qualify them as "patriotic?"
