What is the worst record your team has had and you still cheered them on like they were a winning team.

My team: 2000 Chargers with 1 and 15 record.

Saints....1-15 in 1985 or 86.

Plenty of losing seasons to choose from, too LOL.

Well I don't have a pro team but I root for the Cornhuskers. As long as I can remember they were the team to beat, always in the top 10. You get use to your team being good. Now they lose alot. First losing season just a few years back. Getting stomped by Missouri. Where did it all go wrong? Oh yeah the West Coast crap Offense and a sad sad Defense. I still love them Huskers though. Win or Lose

I'm still rooting for the Dolphins
just this Sunday I got asked by 2 strangers why I would "wear that hat out in public"
...I said both times (although I believe I worded it better the second time)

"What kind of pathetic fan would I be if I didn't support my team no matter how bad they are"

So, I guess my answer is: I'm a great fan
and I might end up having to be like you, rooting for my team on their way to a 1-15 record

Eagles are at their worst right now and a few years ago when trouble owens left.

The Ravens were at their worst, the two years prior to Steve coming from Tennessee. And the 3 or 4 years before they won the Superbowl.

Yes, I still cheer for my teams when they suck because who else would I cheer for, I hate 29 of the other 30 teams.

I've stuck with the Cowboys since I was 7 years old.
That includes the 3-13, 1-15, and 5-11 years.

It's been 10 years since a playoff victory........getting antsy over here!

(btw, the Saints never went 0-16 - no team has. The Saints' worst season was 1-15 in 1980)

I AGREE WITH TERRY C, but maybe he forgot:

New England Patriots.
The Pats went 1-15 under Rod Rust (worst coach ever) in 1990. During the season, the Patriots were thrown into the middle of a sexual harassment scandal when Boston Herald reporter Lisa Olson was sexually and verbally assaulted by several Patriots players in the team's locker room and was later labeled a "classic *****".

First Steeler game I ever went to @ Pitt Stadium & it was Chuck Noll's first game as head coach. The Steelers beat Detroit & then went on to finish 1-13. Man, have things changed in the 'Burgh over the years! This was 1969. Before that, we used to go to the games at Forbes Field & while the Steelers didn't win much, even then, their defense hurt a lot of people!

Yeah! Go Chargers. Haven't really gotten into the Chargers until I was 9 or 10. I'm 14 now. They did pretty bad but I never left. My brother on the other hand says Chargers suck, but then come Gameday he's jumping up and down. If they lose, he says they suck. That little *****!

Well, my team is the Pats...but I have been a fan throw the good and bad times...From the old "glory" days of Steve Grogan, Craig James, Irving Fryar and Stanley Morgan, to the blowout loss to Ditka, McMahon, Payton and the Bears in the Super Bowl in '85, to years of mediocrity, to the great dynasty today...
