Its a film about a mentally unstable girl and her boyfriend, made in the 1990's i think. Its a kind of drama thriller and ends with them dying in a 'blaze of glory' !. The girl is obsessed by space and has a telescope and stuff

hmm.. i can't think of anything QUITE like that.. although, the one that popped into my head was Mad Love or the one with Kirsten Dunst.... Crazy/Beautiful
