For my money the best cruising is the Noth Channel and Georgian Bay of Northern Lake Huron. For 8 or so months of the year it is wonderful. Crystal clear, drinkable fresh water, thousands of beautiful islands, great fishing, wild blueberries and strawberries in the summer, relatively protected cruising, wonderful towns and people. Alaskas inside passage is my next favorite. Would be favorite but not as hospitable for as long each year, very rugged but fantastic cruising.

I know but can't tell you because then I'd have to kill you. I cringe whenever I see a magazine article about the place. Part of its perfection is the lack of traffic some parts of the year. Sorry but I'll keep the answer to myself. I'd tell other boaters about some other place. European canal trips perhaps!
