Even if they're not and are completely innocent, I think we should bring back capital punishment for child killers and paedophiles. Harsh, but they sure won't do it again.

personally I think the death penalty would be too light a sentence for them.... why put them out of their misery....
let me rot in a jail cell for the rest of their life, cleaning the toilets with a toothbrush and eating slops.
perhaps then they might consider that abandoning their 3 children (all under 4) whilst they Wine and Dine on Tapas all night was actually irresponsible and the wrong thing to do..
They currently show no remorse whatsoever, and dont even think they are irresponsible parents!????? .... get real Gerry and Kate.... the rest of the nation think you are guilty of neglect and irresponsible parenting...

No, death by hanging is too easy for them.

A life time in prison amongst real life people who will remind them of their crime every day, is far better.

Hi Shambo.

I do not agree with the death penalty, not because I am a namby pamby do gooder.

There are two reasons for me not wanting the death penalty, the first is, death is too good, I would want a person guilty of child minder to live to be 100 years old, locked up behind bars, terrified and getting a wack on a daily basis from the other inmates.

The second reason is we still get it wrong, like the two poor women sent to prison for murdering their babies, and it turned out the doctor was wrong and the babies had died of cot death. We would not have been able to bring those ladies back, and how wrong would that have been. Imagine being on the jury and finding out you had sent one of them women to her death............and you then find out she was innocent.

No. Two wrongs don't make a right. And I agree with Lexy; sometimes we do make mistakes, but if someone is dead, it's too late to fix it.
