Yes. 1980. My wife's family had a reunion, they had relatives from all over the world including a nun from Bangledesh who had not been back to the USA in 25 years, and non-English speaking relatives from Europe. Took five years to plan.
We traveled 2,000 miles to attend.

omg yes. Some of them were pretty cool, but there were always a few of them that I would have been happy never to see again. Especially the family that came from California, hooked up their RV to my parents' water and electricity, eating all the food and drinking all the alcohol in the house, and stayed for a week, never once offering to pay for the power, food, and water they were using .

i met my dad for the first time a year ago, and we met at 10pm at the hotel and were off to the family reunion the next day. i got to meet the whole fam damily all within 12 hours. and god, how can i be related to those people. are you sure you didnt sleep around mom?

yes they are some crazy people in my family and of course everyone has that perverted uncle that hits on you if not then my family is more weirder than i thought.my family also breaks out into a fight law is called people go to jail and you usually see us on COPS.
