Sometimes two can be a crowd....and sometimes more than three can be company....it depends on who they are. I sometimes feel that there is nothing better than my own company....and I think Yahoo! Answers is a perfect example of a place where more than 3 people can be without it seeming crowded.
Edit: have we all forgotten to mention that four and five is nine?
