Randy Johnson was not a bust. He won 17 games each season he pitched for the Yankees. And he was over 40 in each season. That's pretty good for an old guy with a banged up body/back.

Pavano is worthless! Certainly the biggest bust in recent years. Maybe Kevin Brown or Hensley Meulens.

Pavano is far from the biggest bust.Look at there last 4 seasons together 7 gold glovers 12 former all-stars.Why dont you look at 3rd base and then look at first base where Mr Muscle cant play anymore.Why dont they try and buy the whole league.Or why not try and by a couple more Red Sox players.If they make a move to bring it Santana or if they try and get someone like Pudge ther season next year is already over.SAY goodbye to Posada if Torre is gone. Pavano isn't there problem there heart is gone.Say goodbye to the evil empire

Tell me what Free agent pitcher you would want that can crack the starting rotation next year if it looks like this: Pettite, Wang, Hughes, Chamberlain and Kennedy. I don't think there is one out there. They have the starting pitching, they need some pen help. That is really all they need at this time.

Right now it looks like their roster of 25 sucks. I doubt ARod will be back. I'm a Jeter fan-even he is part of the problem it looks like. They need pitching bad. Same as everyone else.
