Most of the fragrant smelling air fresheners I find fills the air with what they consider fragrance, and 2 hrs later when I walk inside the room from outside, it only smells like bad chemicals. My nose is sensitive as well as my sinuses, so I found out the best option is not spraying anything at all, but using an air purifier helps take all the odors as well as allergens out of the air.

I hate it! It's really worse than the original smell, because now you have something stinky mixed with the gross smell of Febreze.

I am allergic to the smell of Febreeze. It makes me sneeze and sneeze. It is the oil which is used to bind the fragrance that is the problem. (Probably skunk oil! lol)
Some was spilled in the trunk of my car and I thought I would have to get rid of the car. Finally after airing the trunk out for several days of hot sun, the odor went away. Yuk!

Try Odo Ban instead. It has a light scent and can be used for cleaning as well as a fabric refresher.
I just tried the Fuller version of a fabric refresher and it is delightful. All Fuller products are half off this week at Stop And Shop.

If you don't like the smell of febreze, you can make your own.
All febreze is is water, fabric softener and baking soda.
Just use whatever scent of fabric softener you like..or buy unscented.
2 C. baking soda
2 C. fabric softener
4 C. warm water
Mix that all together and put in a spritzer bottle.

I don't hate the smell, I just think it's to weak. So I make my own with a cup liquid fabric softener( your favorite) in a spray bottle and fill the rest with water.:)

Don't mind it when I spray it, but can't stand the smell it leaves. I use OdorCide. Febreeze strikes me as just another cover up.

Quick fix for odours but can you imagine years of spraying your house with that stuff? Lung damage anyone? Whatever happened to good old cleaning and opening up the damn windows?
