No, not really. I understand why people do it, so the trolls can't follow them around and report all their questions and answers. It's just a personal choice. I allow email but I have gotten a few of those that I had to just ignore.

It makes me mad when they tell you to check out their profile and it's set on private. Or you get a bulletin from someone saying add this person and you try and you have to know them personally to add them. WTF! Have a great day!

nope, not really. Some of us have had enough trouble with trolls and now keep our profiles that way to protect ourselves.
