It seems to me that the time between when a light turns from yellow to red has been tweaked for shorter intervals, especially when there is a traffic cam in place. I hate the thought of getting a moving violation for going though a red light, having my insurance go up, and lastly the thought of someone getting killed or injured because some idiot is in a hurry to get somewhere. Tell me what you think ?

the yellow means that no more cars should enter the intersection, and cars in the intersection should move through....

that said, most traffic lights have a delay between yellow one direction and green the other..meaning all lights are red for 1/2 second...

If there is a car moving through the intersection as the light is changing- that is the only car that should proceed (with caution). Any other car is in violation and is subject to ticketing. Hope this helps. It's just not worth the risk involved to hurt someone or hit another vehicle. We all need to practice patience!!!

The yellow light is only to allow cars that are ALREADY in the intersection to proceed through safely.
If you are not in the intersection when it turns yellow, you can be charged with running the light if you go through.

Actually by law none. A yellow lite is to be treated as a red unless your are in to high of speeds to stop or it has turned yellow as you are under it. So i say none.

all cars in the intersection should go through, all those behind the wide white line should stay put.

One. Two at most, if they're really rushing.
