There is no standard pressure for the water coming into your home. I have seen pressures as low as 35psi and as high as 80. It just depends on how far you are from your water source. And it can vary, water pressure will drop in the morning when everyone takes a shower and rises late at night. But whatever your pressure is, your dishwasher will work fine. It keeps track of how much water it puts into your dishwasher so if its slow or fast it will stop when its had enough. Good luck!

40 pounds is "standard". Anything over 80 is considered high. Your dishwasher only fills from the water supply, the pressure has nothing to do with the operation. An enclosed pump supplies the pressure.
