I've been off the pill for about a month now, and I want to get pregnant. I'm not sure when I ovulate, if I'm normal it's about this time. My husband and I have had sex three days out of the past four and I'm feeling cramps...and I have a headache and feel tired. Is this normal after the pill? Or is this implantation? or just ovulation?

I got off the pill a few months ago after being on it 10 years. I also had headaches, cramping, etc. My body is finally feeling back to normal again and taking prenatal vitamins and eating super healthy has given me more energy through out the day. I've heard that the time it takes to get pregnant varies on a case by case basis. My doctor recommended to wait at least 3 months to try to conceive - she said "before you plant a tree, you want to make sure that it has the best soil to grow with". Just enjoy the moment and have lots of sex with your husband! :-)

I got pregnant in the first month after I came off the pill. It is different for everyone. It took my sister about 6 months to get pregnant coming off the pill.

It depends on many things, but in some cases 1 month is enough.
If you want to be more accurate you can take your body temperature daily, you'll have a higher body temperature during the ovulation

WHEN ON ANY TYPE OF BIRTH CONTROL IT CAN TAKE UP TO THREE YEARS FOR IT TO REMAIN IN YOUR SYSTEM. BUT REMEMBER THERE ARE WOMEN WHO CONCEIVE WHILE ON THE PILL. WAIT FOR UR PERIOD TO TAKE ITS COURSE ON DAY FOURTEENTH AFTER HAVING UR PERIOD IS WHEN WOMEN START TO OVULATE. ALSO IF YOU KNOW WHEN YOUR PERIOD IS COMING THREE DAYS BEFORE YOU GET IT WOMEN HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CONCEIVE. AND IF YOU ARE REALLY TRYING CAREFUL TOO MUCH SEX MAY CAUSE LOW SPERM COUNT. GIVE YOURSELF TIME OR GO SEE A DOC.
