I answered another question about the Pats going all the way and stated that on "Any given Sunday" any team can win or in the Pats case lose. I got thumbs down for that answer. Fans don't like the reality of their players actually being human and making mistakes or seeing players thought to be mediocre have a phenomenal Sunday. I agree with you that every team has the potential.

Every team has talent, no question. But not every team has as much talent as the next, it doesn't have to do so much with consistency as it is physical ability, experience and coaching. Take last night's game for example, a more experience Quarterback does not throw the ball into double coverage on Dallas' 11 and end up getting picked off. He chucks it out of bounds and the Bills kick a field goal. A more experienced Bills team wins that game, a not so good not so experienced team lets it get away from them. Better coaching doesn't call a reverse on 3rd and 2 they just pick up the first and save the cute plays for later. A better coaching staff dials up the heat on Romo on the last drive and better players execute and Cowboys dont score once in the last 2 minutes nevermind 2 times in the last minute. Yes there are reasons why the Bills are 1-4, they have been consistant all season, they have consistently been a young team that has let games get away from them due to inexperience and not so great coaching in some crucial situations. Take a slightly better team and Dallas is 4-1 right now.

you are so right everyone is making a big deal about the cowboys "barely" winning the bills i mean they still won and any team can lose or win at any time! everyone says that its all about the pats or colts. its okay if you like those teams but you dont have to say that no other team can stand up to them! what about all the teams that have won 5 Superbowl's cowboys, 49ers, and steelers. the pats or colts dont even fit that category! they need to see that they can lose any game against any team! last year the good teams like the bears and the chargers are not even doing good this year. their records last year were so much better than this year! what if next year the colts and the pats are not good then what? are people not going to like them? and like the team that is doing good? do you know how many fair weather fans there are in the nfl? too many! a lot of people didnt like the colts until they won the superbowl! i have been a cowboys fan my whole life even the years that they didnt do good and i will always love them. sure i want them to win but if they dont it doesnt mean that i wont like them anymore! well anyway what i am trying to say is that its true any team can lose on any given sunday or monday but that doesnt mean that they are a bad team or anything!

Yeap but for some reason the Cowboys, Pats, and Colts all started the season in a lot better game shape than the other teams. Whether it was their off season work or for whatever reason.
As the other teams start getting in game shape physically things are going to start levelling out a lot more.

There are two teams in the league that don't fit into your category. The Patriots and Colts. They will beat most teams 9 times out of ten...............PERIOD!!!!
