No, but it had been initially. NBC has since it moved to Direct TV where it is shown exclusively on channel 101. Passions was moved to accommodate the expansion of the " Today" show into its 4th hour. ( too damn long in my humble opinion)
So for all of those Passions fans out there, it can only be viewed on Direct TV or on-line. NBC will be streaming it on line. New episodes will be uploaded by 8pm EST weekdays according to their website

It was not moved to accommodate another hour of Today. It was taken off of NBC's lineup because it sux. There was only one worse soap opera, Port Charles, with Vampires who invaded the sleepy little town. HA HA I used to watch it to laugh. I was having health problems and depression, so the doctor prescribed laughter. Funny movies only last so long, but new episodes of Port Charles were on each day. So I used Passions when Port Charles got taken away. Now I just hop onto Yahoo Answers to occupy my brain and sometimes someone gives a great answer that makes me laugh.

Being last in the overall ratings for almost all of it's run on NBC-- Low ratings means a show is NOT making any $$ for the network and the network cancels the show.
