I've heard of a hunted tunnel near Niagara falls, called the Screaming Tunnel. Is it real?

The tunnel was originally meant to be a rail tunnel in the early 1900's. The problem was that the Grand Trunk Railroad went bankrupt after World War I, although the tunnel was finished in time, the tracks were never laid down. There are many myths about the tunnel, such as a girl getting lit on fire over a divorce between her parents. The legend behind this tunnel is if you light a match in the middle of the tunnel, you hear a high-pitched scream and the match goes out.
