I really enjoyed C.S. Lewis "The Chronicles of Narnia" Jane Austin books are also very good. My personal favorites were "Persuasion" and, of course, "Pride and Prejudice". "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte was engaging. Her sister Emily Bronte wrote "Wuthering Heights" which was interesting. Some others I found endearing, exciting or at least time well spent were: "At the Back of the North Wind" by George Macdonald; William Goldman's "Princess Bride" and "Anne of Green Gables" by Lucy Maud Montgomery (you'll want to have a box of Kleenex handy with that one). Hope something there sparks your interest! Happy reading!

I don't really like Dean Koontz but I was given "Odd Thomas" as a present and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was and how it kept my interest right til the end. Try it.
Try Diana Gabaldon - "outlander" series. Start with Outlander and you will be addicted in no time. That is the best book I have ever read in my 100 years or so that I have lived (seems like a 100 anyway) and I have read it at least a doz times and each time it is still as fresh and exciting as the first time. The whole series is good - there are 6 in the series. Try it out anyway and I guarantee addiction after the first 60 pages or so. You will want to read the whole series.

You can go to Amazon.com and search:
"Lost from Atlantis Book 1" - Book 2 is coming out soon, Book 3 is in editing and will be out soon too.
"Death by Murder David Lindsay" - you have to search that way. There's a lot of sex in it.
and "Super Spaghetti."

They're all available for free right now through Kindle Unlimited, which you can get with a free trial - Google how to get it. Then you can read it online or with a free Kindle phone app if you don't have a Kindle.
