On a neutral field, expect similar results of the last game. The SEC championship against a potential Florida should be LSU's only big concern right now, not to discount the rest of their season. With Doucet back and Florida on a neutral field, I think the game will have a similar ending... and by ending I mean it will come down to whoever makes the last strong stand. Last weekend, it was LSU. Remember though how tough the Gator offense was against the #1 defense in the land. If Florida's inexperienced defense works out the kinks by championship time, they may be the spoiler to an otherwise excellent season.
By the way, if it were up to me, Florida would beat LSU in the SEC Championship and LSU would still advance to the national championship (as long as Florida can't go)... but unfortunately that won't happen... just one more reason to add a playoff system into the national championship mix.

The problem with the SEC is the physical pounding you take week-in and week-out. It is tough to stay healthy and energized for an entire SEC season. However, I think Coach Miles has a done a good job in this regard by substituting a lot of players and letting some banged up players rest when it is a weaker opponent (i.e., like Tulane).
The upcoming games that bother me are Kentucky, Auburn and the SEC championship game (if they get there). Kentucky is not a fluke and they have a good offense. The Tiger-Gator game was one hard-hitting son of a gun. So, LSU has a lot of players who are nicked up and then you have the let down after an exciting game.
Auburn is fast improving especially on defense and the LSU-Auburn match up is always a battle that usually comes down to fourth quarter play to determine the winner.
If LSU and Florida meet in the SEC championship game, my gut tells me that LSU might not make it out unscathed.
To answer your question, LSU will need some breaks to go their way like the Florida game on one or two occasions otherwise they will probably lose a game.

Good question. LSU is playing the best football in the country right now but the odds are against them running the table. LSU has 8 games to go most of which will be against teams that -- with a couple of favorable bounces -- are capable of beating them.
Still, LSU has a best chance of remaining undefeated teams of going undefeated for the year.

Florida in the SEC championship game is the only real test. Auburn should be easy if only because it is an 8:00 p.m. kickoff, and Alabama, while in Tuscaloosa, isn't that good (I'm a Bama fan and it kills me to to say that).
If LSU gets past Florida again, then I don't think anyone will be able to beat them in the Sugar bowl. It will basically be an LSU home game, and no one will be able to put up more than 21 points against them.

This coming from an OU graduate. It's hard to admit but LSU is the best team in the country. BUT the SEC is the toughest conference and they will more than likely lose 1. No worries though they will play for and win the national championship.

This football year so far has been amazingly exciting. Top 10 teams have been eating it the last couple of weeks and the shock of USC losing to Stanford, who would have thought it. Anyway, I do believe that they will be defeated sometime during this current season based on their upcoming schedule and the rhythm of upsets are looming over all top 25 teams this year. In fact, they may lose their #1 rating to Cal if they were to have a less than stellar performance at any time.

i think they will. they saw how powerful the gators were, and also found out how to defeat them. Kentucky isnt going to be a game, it will be playtime, and as for alabama and auburn, alabama wont be a problem, but auburn has always had their number, so that one should be a good game to watch. USC wont be anything but a blowout. so all in all i say that yes, LSU will do it this yr.

It will be hard but coming into the season, the 4 games that worried me were VT, South Carolina, Florida, and Auburn. 3 of the 4 of those we have disposed of. Kentucky has looked pretty good but Auburn + Arkansas are a little down. I like our chances, time will tell.

look at who they have performed and the rankings of those video games. They one via a component against Louisiana Tech. who's that? i've got on no account heard of that soccer group no longer to point the faculty. They surprisingly much have been given beat via flippin' UCLA. UCLA performs human beings yet frequently gets destroyed. that's quite stressful while a collection from a no person convention gets into the the incredible 10 uncontested only like Boise State. So I say the BCS is crap and we could desire to continually only go right into a playoff gadget. And no i do no longer think of Chase Keenum could desire to additionally be seen for the Heisman Trophy. If he have been to rather play with actual communities, he might get picked off left and precise and in all threat lose his commencing place, only asserting. reliable for him that he broke a NCAA record for passing, yet all and sundry ought to with that schedule.

In the regular season most likely. If they can get past Kentcuky this week and then Auburn and Alabama they are hom free. That is until they meet Florida in the SEC title game and I don't see them winning a rematch on a neutral field.
