i separate them into t shirts,jeans,shorts and whites. it drives me crazy WHEN PEOPLE THROW EVERYTHING IN TO ONE LOAD.

the only time i separate the laundry is when i buy new clothes because most likely the color will run. after a few times in the washer, i just throw everything together. doesn't really matter.

Yes, I seperate light colors from dark colors and hope for the best :D

depends on how much I have and if I am in a hurry...usually seperate and throw a few towels in with each load to make it easier since I always have 4 loads of towels to do...

no way do i throw it all in together and hope for the best!
white with whites, dark colors with dark and inbetween with like colors.

My dad does all the laundry, but yes I always seperate it (when I DO do it).

Everything is sorted; whites, light, medium and black/dark. I have three kids and the washer runs 24/7.
