No you need to go to the court that granted the petition and tell them your situation because her mother or whoever the other parent is will collect the child support and if you sont tell the court and you dont pay child support it can affect you and child support will add up

Yes only the court can order a change. You can't decide you don't want to pay support even if your daughter lives with you. Go back to court.

You need to get an attorney to go to court and you can file for permanent custody and then no, the child support ends but possibly if you paid support for that year and it was for her, someone owes you a lot of money!!

You need legal representation. This is nothing to mess around
with. Go see a lawyer and make sure this is done right. The
laws of various states vary.

But no, it doesn't seem right that you should pay child support
AND support the child. You need good representation.
