... make $70,000?

Is that the "game" Hillary is trying to play ... figure out what how much she has to give to people in order to get votes while making everyone who earns more money pay for it?

Absolutely not. The government needs money to run. Although the Democrats (and maybe Republicans) might want you to think that high tax rates generate more income, the truth is that high rate reduce total revenue: http://www.a2dvoices.com/realityCheck/commentary/budget.html

Tax rate politics are information warfare on the average citizen, spoils for the companies that lobby (like ethanol: http://www.a2dvoices.com/realityCheck/Energy ), and diversions from accountability.

Use taxes seem like a fair approach. Money does not do anyone any good if it is not being spent. It seems obvious that punishing the most productive with high taxes leads to a country based on entitlements. Entitlements should be resticted to those with real disabilities and not provided to those with abilities that decide it is easier to be lazy and blame others. Why shouldn't the lazy be charged the same taxes for their goods as the real tax payers?

More propaganda. Hillarious. I wonder how she will make up the difference? A condom tax? It's real clear the tax cuts will be maintained above the medium range you fall in. Yet up to $72,000 you can dump your family insurance policy and put all the kiddies on socialized medicine hillcare. Then have more kids for the $5,ooo and go to Hawaii! Just kidding but you obviously are on the same page. Stinks foul 2me. Politics as usual. NO Change and experience how to play the game! TY

Sadly that's what its going to come down to. Take take take from those that make over XYZ amount and give give give to the people that make less than XYZ. Its the typical liberal and communist way of thinking.

Truth - Warren Buffet paid how many tens of millions of dollars in taxes while his secretary paid what $3000 maybe $4000 at the most. People that earn large amounts tend to spend more when they pay less in taxes. That's a fact.

Hillary basically wants everyone to give their full paycheck to the gov't. Then the gov't can take what they want and give us what they think we actually need.

Hillary's true socialist colors are coming out with her recent statement of a national 401k plan. Add that to the $5,000 she wants to give to babies and soon our tax rate will be 90% for anyone making above the poverty level.

I am so sick of taxes being weighed on percentages instead of dollars. Warren Buffet may have paid a lesser percentage of income in taxes than his secretary, but I imagine he paid about 120,000 times more in dollars!

Hillary will no do anything with the tax code, neither will Barrack, Rudy, John, John, Bill, etc. Presidents do not enact laws.
Hillary and all the rest will say what they need to say to the naive to get elected. If she talks to working people she will champion them. If she talks to bankers she will champion them.

Kind of in reverse with how Dubya got elected. Except he bought rich people's votes with tax cuts. Now poor people, who didn't get as much in tax cuts or aren't getting paid much more, are struggling to make ends meet with increased inflation.

It seems there is more postings by people that can't stand Hillary on what her proposals are than anything else. I think I'll look at what her materials propose than the distortions and speculations posted by the clueless.
