The American Dark Ages. A recession from reason.

Actually I take that back.. I'm sorry.. if No Child Left Behind is still in play.. then in 60 years a forth grade reading level will consist of sock puppets and finger paints.

I'm glad I won't be around !
What my Great Granddaughters tell their kids will be totally up to them. Since their Mothers are presently in Elementary, and Middle School, They will probably remember this era as some of their best years!

On the other hand,..If their Grandpa ever gets off his butt, and writes that book he's been talking about, they will have an accurate account of 9-11, The Iraq War, and how the Supreme Court helped Bush steal his first election, while Fear helped him get re-elected!

The Great Folly. (Could describe either the war, or Bushie himself.)
Honestly, Opi, I don't think the kids will believe it. They'll think it's some sort of gruesome fairy tale, a la the Brothers Grimm.

Not sure about the chapter name, but the last sentence of the chapter will be, "but we are much smarter now and that will never happen again."

Abysmal miserable failure and hypocrisy.... if they chose to be honest. But that won't happen IF we continue to have crooked elections without end.

I explain to my 4 year old son now that he's the President and he's a good man who is trying to protect us from people who don't like us, who the people elected twice. (It's been proven by even liberal organizations.)

I haven't figured out a way to explain why libs hate him so vehemently and blame all the ills of the world on him. I'd rather he think for the moment that people don't hate.

It will explain to the kiddies how close American came to speaking Arabic, kneeling on prayer rugs facing Mecca several times a day.
