whatever it takes to satisfy the baby. Just give him/her a couple oz at a time. Give a little break between oz so his/her stomach can rest.

When my son was 2-3 weeks I gave him about 2-2.5 oz every two hours.

Another rule of thumb is 2-3 oz for how much the baby weighs. For instnace if the baby weighs 7 then he would need from 14-21 oz in a 24 hour time period but every baby is different.

LOL. I can't help but laugh because when my son was this age I was lucky to get him to take a whole 2 oz bottle!!! And I was terrified that something was wrong with him. Now he's eight months old and can sometimes drink 10 oz. at a time and still act hungry. So I'd say that its whatever they feel like having.

It depends on how big your baby is. My son was born at 5 pounds 12 ounces and was only taking 2 ounces for the first month or so. He is now 3 months old and takes 4-5 ounces at a time. Try 3 ounces and if your little one is still hungry, give him or her a little more. If he doesn't want more than 3 ounces or spits up when you give him 4, just give him what he will eat. Good luck and congratulations!

Doesn't matter. When babys full, she'll stop. whether it's 3, 4 or 6 oz

Mine took between 3-6 oz. They hit growth spurts so it changes from time to time. Your best bet is to feed the baby until its full.

well i believe 4 oz don't get the baby off track by giving him 3 oz then he'll want more and then you'll have to feed him in between of feeding and he'll gain more weight then he needs to

oh my! i hate to say this every baby is different. i have a 3month old who eats 4 oz at her feedings every 3 hours. she pulls away when she isnt hungry anymore & when she's still hungry she'll cry when the empty bottle is pulled away. i just use her cues.
