What does a bubble in the liquid-crystal of a Mood Ring mean?

I have seen Mood Rings & other types of Mood Jewelry that have a bubble in the liquid-crystal which is encased in the dome. What exactly is going on with the liquid-crystal when that happens? Thanks in advance to All who Answer here.

it means there is air in it.

i don't think it means anything. i think it could mean that it is not a good quality ring.
