No, it's an oil trap. And the idea that we can kill all the terrorists in Iraq is just as stupid as thinking we can wipe out sharks by killing all of them in the Mediterranean.

Iraq is a trap and it is the US that has its teats in the wringer. Bin Laden even stated some time ago his intention to lure America into a long and protracted war in the Middle East and bleed that country dry. The US army is stretched and near broken and when all is said and done this endeavor will cost trillions.

Afghanistan hastened the Soviet demise. Iraq will do the same to the US.

Never was about liberating the Iraqi people. The real Al Qeada leadership is not hanging out in Iraq that's for sure. It has been known all along what a quagmire Iraq would be, Cheney said it himself. Its all about the industrial complex and the money. Nazis are in charge! We are at great risk!

So lets think this through... we get attacked.. so .. instead of improving our defense to prevent further attacks ... we invade a nation and people that have nothing to do with the attack... f-up their entire nation just to lay a trap.... and instead of going to the trap.. Bin Laden and his Al Queada just hang back and build their power and influence back up... so they can prepare for another attack.

Actually, that sounds a LOT like a Bush plan... he may be right.

No - We were provoked by Saddam and the Sunni's.

But there are many attacks now coming from Iranians, Al Quaeda & also from Shiites.

There weren't any significant numbers of terrorists in Iraq......until we got there.

who knows. Is that the real reason #38 or #53??? They are all starting to blur together.

It won't eliminate all the terrorists in the world. The key to fighting a real war on terrorism is to get global cooperation and seek and destroy terrorist cells where ever they are in the world. That includes so-called allies like Saudi Arabia.

OBL's goal, clearly stated years before 911 was to draw us into the Middle East where we could be killed. Looks like it's working.
