If you have old steel pipes, they may be clogged with build up and corrosion and need to be changed to copper or plastic. Otherwise the supply line and fill valve in the toilet tank may need to be replaced as well as the cartridges in the faucet. I can't give a complete diagnosis without actually inspecting the plumbing. Also the amount of water supplied to the house may not allow for using multiple fixtures at the same time.

ok, you are able to restoration it, and don't desire the replace the bathroom. fundamentals: interior the bathroom, over to the left is the fill valve, or ballcock, that fills the bathroom. interior the middle is the flush valve, which we could the water out. below the tank to the left side is the (water) grant line, normally yet no longer constantly related to a "supply up" valve, a smallish chrome plated valve with an oval take care of. additionally below the tank, interior the middle, is a vast rubber gasket (below the flush valve interior). ultimately, there are a pair of bolts (infrequently, 3) that carry the tank on the stool. attempt to make certain precisely the place the leak is coming from. this could properly be a splash problematic, as gravity will deliver a trickle down in atypical places. If this is sufficient to bead up water once you're in there, get a towel and flashlight. Wipe each little thing off, shop the flashlight on it, and look forward to beads of water to look. it fairly is the place the leak is. If this is real the place the backside of the fill valve comes interior the direction of the tank, may be a one-dollar gasket interior the tank that the fill valve sits on. If this is real the place the provision line threads directly to the fill valve below, greater probably a bad seal there. If this is "migrating" alongside the backside of the tank, could desire to be an old tank-to-stool bolt gasket. infrequently, the great gasket interior the middle, the "spud" gasket. If the porcelain of the bathroom is okay, this is properly worth fixing. each little thing else can get replaced. If this is the fill valve gasket, only get a clean fill valve, with comes with a clean one - and you get a clean, non-squeaky fill valve. If it fairly is a tank bolt gasket, only get a clean bolt equipment, all new stuff jointly with your new gaskets. If this is the provision line, try reattaching it after a pair of wraps of "plumbers tape" on the male threads of the fill valve (or chrome supply up valve if it wound up down there). by using the way, older chrome supply up valve could itself leak...replace it in case you identify that. and don't use plumber's putty on something right here. you're able to do it, and shop your self around $one hundred.

you should ask if he will isolate the pipes going to the stuss that has low pressure. Example the line to the toilet and sink maybe parially plugged. If he is willing to try this it may save a couple of hours of trouble shoting hence a lower bill. If he doesn't even want to consider any of your advise try another plumber.

it sounds as though you have a loss in pressure.you do not give many details but if the pump is running a lot than it is possible that the bladder in the water tank has burst which would cause the symptoms you describe as the pump is trying to fill a larger space than it should be and the pressure is not building up to the proper level
