How do i collect pine pitch?

cut the bark on the tree and the pitch/sap will ooze out. nail a can below the cut and the sap will slowly collect in it.

find a pine tree, make a small cut thru the bark, the tar or pitch will fill that cut up. look for globs on the tree trunk,
