Well, as we all know, the Buffalo Sabres made it very far in the NHL playoffs. Well Me personally as a sabres fanatic doesnt think that they will have a great season... I'm just wondering what the rest of the country is thinking about this subject

Lost too much on the off-season. Brier & Drury will really be missed! Should make the playoffs but I don't see them going passed the first round.

Buffalo will finish about 5th or 6th in the east and probably won't go very deep into the playoffs. There's always next season..

The only thing the Edmonton Oilers are better than the Sabres at is underhanding other teams on the UFA market.

The Buffalo Sabres aren't the same team as last year. They don't do very well so far... I don't know, will see in a few weeks.

as a fellow sabres fan, i think they just need to get reconnected. i havent seen any of their games yet (because i was working), but they still have talent. the ystill have connolly (as long as he is healthy), miller, campbell, hopefully spacek will be better this season, they also have vanek, roy, afinogenov, lydman, stafford (he has potential), pominville, and hecht. so they lost drury and briere, big deal. they just gotta look ahead and forget about drury and briere.
i say they are gonna get 5th seed. they are easily better than edmonton and sabres suck is two words, that cannot be said by a leafs fan (because the sabres are better than the leafs)

Briere,Drury and Numminen being gone will be the death blow to any hope of a good season for Sabres fans. That really sucks because you guys are a great hockey town. So instead of having a great town to look at for hope, we are stuck with hill billy towns where hockey has no business of being, to look to.

Sabres will still be good, 5th or 6th seed in the East. btw, Mr. Taco, the Sabres didn't lose Gomez, he never played for them, he played for the Devils, then got signed by the Rangers.

Cool, a smart Sabres fan. You, sir, are an endangered species. Discovery Channel should do a documentary on you. lol

JK, I'm not trying to convince anybody that I'm any better; I'm just stating facts.

Looking pretty bad after losing 2 straight to the Islanders and because they lost Drury and Briere.

Pretty much everyone else thinks this:

Lost Drury. Lost Gomez. Weak defense. = Won't be as good as they have been.

How much they will drop is very much up for debate. Personally, I think they will be better than most people think, but not as good as a Sabres' fan will think.
