Have we not seen this a million times before…the end all of anti-theft devices…first it was keys to deter theft, alarm systems to deter, key-fobs with chips, and now On-Star’s debut into Theft deterrence.
When my insurance company gives me a lower premium for my car not being able to be stolen, then I’ll think about it.
But as long as a human being is involved in any endeavor, not only will mistakes be made, but the ability to elude and circumvent ANY system has always been with the ability of another human.
Features and gimmicks are a great way to move product, but I’m not buying it.
