To learn everything and anything about past lives/reincarnation, I would 100% suggest the book Past Lives Future Healing by Sylvia Browne. She talks about our lives in the past and future, why we choose to reincarnate and what we learn from each time. We can remember small tidbits from each life, which is called Cell Memory. Why we favor certain things, and why we may have uncontrolable fears of things for no reason. Everything in our past lives can affect us today in this life.

First to correct the misinformation. If vivo would actually read the research literature he and others would find that the overwhelming majority of cases are very ordinary past lives. Skeptics like to point to the more extreme cases as that they are easier to dismiss. This is known as the straw man fallacy in logic. Set up a weak point out of context as being your opponents best case and argue against that ignoring the evidence you can't explain.
The evidence is very suggestive for reincarnation. The best work on this subject was done by the now deceased Ian Stevenson, M.D.. His work is being continued by others and I have included a link below

I believe it. There are so many things in the world that are unknown to us, so why rule out the possibility of reincarnation? I believe anything is possible (too open-minded I guess). I can't really say what past life I have lived. But, I think my dog is the spirit of a little boy..I do. (No Joke)

Yep. I have memories of many different places and my memories continue to be presented to me. I also do healing work and regressions and readings about past lives as well.
I know about many lives. The funny thing is that christians used to believe in reincarnation, then they didn't. (I think Constantine had something to do with it, but I could have my facts wrong.) So now they think that they just go to heaven. Well, you do go to heaven...then you come back for more learning and growing on as a spiritual being. It's really kind of interesting how our past lives have an effect on our current lives. I suggest you look into it. :)

I can only know of past lives during those periods between physical life. Therefore, the way I know of the truth of reincarnation is déjà vu.
One example, is that I walked out of the correct doors of the Railway station in Paris France to go two blocks down to the Metro station where the subway train would be that I needed. I have never been to Paris before in this life.

bogus. and sometimes convenient, for some. but, regarding regressive hypnosis, hypnotists admit that ppl are very open to suggestions and, if asked, they'll imagine anything, in great variety of details.
besides, everybody's too busy trying to figure out the one they're living right now. not to mention all those who say "they remember" were either egyptian princesses or napoleon.

mr. psiexploration, you can't possibly know how much i've read or i haven't; you'll also be astonished of how many crazy things i believe in, but this one is a 'definitely no' one.
i'm a strong believer in astral travel, for instance - that's a possible explanation of how one of the answerers here knows about present facts or places far away from his location.
but reincarnation simply cannot be proved, whatever meaning you give to the word "prove".

I believe in it, because of my memories of it.
I believe in heaven, and those who choose to come back to learn, may do so.
I had a life in a Sikh Muslim war, as a woman(I dreamt it at the time not knowing who they were until i described it to people in detail-like the flags), and one as a twin...that's all I'll say.

I believe in them because some people have specail abilitys that must have come from a past life and not because of heritary.
