My bosch dishwasher is acting up, it fills no problem on the first cycle washes for the allotted time, then drains out, at this point it should refill, but doesn't, it still tries to wash but has no water in it, as it fills the first tile i know that the water is getting in there, so its not the inlet or anything like that. It does the same thing on all programes so its not the program thats at fault does anyone know what it is. Have tried a good kicking didn't help. Anyone got any ideas please.

Can you disconnect the power for a little wile? Now with all the computer parts it might have a hick up. It sometimes correct itself when the power has been disconnected for 10 minutes or so. If that does not do the trick it might just be that a sensor or even the computer board is bad. Let us know how it goes.

When it is at the point where it should be filling open the door and look at the water level float that stops it when enough water is in. If you push down on the float will water start to come in? If so your problem might be a mechanical jam of the float. Did you hear any sound of the drain pump emptying before the cycle continued or of water running in even for a short while at the beginning of that time. If not it may be that the control timer is defective in its control of the filling.
The most likely culprits are the float switch (relatively cheap) and the cycle control (expensive).

If the dishwasher is anything like my Bosch clothes washer.... the computerised system went all to pot, when the techician arrived and told me the problem, he said - Its not good news, I can repair it...............but its will cost a bomb, he said he had only ever had to repair 2 in all the years he had worked on the new type, it was cheaper to buy a new washer which I did. he also told me he couldn't guarantee I would get the parts for 6 weeks, under the circumstances, I went right out and bought a new washer - a Samsung,

There are two anti flood systems built into it, it will either be the float on the under tray or more likely the anti flood float on the side, best bet is to get an engineer out to check it out, if it either of these there should be no parts involved, just labour, so check out the rates the engineer charges before you ask him to call.

Call the store where you bought it and ask for the manufacturer's phone number. After you get the phone number ask the associate if they've heard of this problem. Then call the number and ask them what the problem is. You might get lucky and have a quick fix, but it sounds like you're going to have to have it repaired. You might be able to google the problem after you have more information (tips from the manufacturer like a possible part problem) and be able to fix it yourself. Good luck!

Dishwashers have a sensor to check that the sump is empty i.e. all the water has been pumped out. Yours has probably gone faulty, so it thinks there is water in there, as it hasn't had a signal that there is no water!

sounds like the program dial switch. Unless it has 2 water inlet solenoids.

Have u checked the water outlet pipe/ drain. Mine was being silly and it was just a twisted outlet pipe so the machine thought there was water in when there was not - its worth a try.

Hi, check the outlet pipe that nothing is stuck in it, you should check at the bottom of your washer, where they have a little box with a filter in- it turns off to clear it, sometimes coins or things go through, and stop the water flow. lam not good at electrics- but this has worked on mine- love Jo xx
SERIOUSLY, CHECK THIS OUT BEFORE YOU PAY SOMEONE:xx I THINK THIS WILL WORK; PLEASE TRY IT:
