As they say wisdom comes with age. Wisdome can be defined by the ability to understand how to use the knowledge you have, or the ability to use reason. I think it takes time and experience to attain true wisdome, though it is true that you can meet a person wise beyond their years, meaning you may meet a young person with strong reasoning skills who interprets tand understands he world around them in a way you would expect an older person to.

Wisdom is good judgement, usually due to experience. Which constitutes a person having these qualities as wise. You attain wisdom by knowledge and experience in life. Most people go with the flow of life, and others take more time to reflect. Thus some people who are very young have much wisdom, and likewise a person of age who never took the time to learn from their mistakes can be without wisdom. So basically live and learn and naturally you'll become wise.

That is a good question and probably cannot be answered by anyone without the wisdom to do so, including me but I'll try. Wisdom goes beyond intellect or intelligence which everyone has. It is I think, your intelligence plus your education multiplied by your lifes experience and understanding of your fellow man. Soloman had it in the bible, Yoda had it in Star Wars, Will Rogers had it in real life. It isn't attainable so much as accumulated. When a child finally learns not to touch the stove because it is hot he has achieved a modicum of wisdom. As an adult he must learn to identify the variety of hypothetical stoves he will run into.

Wisdom definitely comes with age. I can answer questions just like this, because I've lived a long time. I'm only 53, so when I'm 70, I'll have more wisdom.
There are so many questions on Y/A that I can just tell that the asker is young. Just living life gives you so much knowledge and "wisdom."
I just looked up "wisdom" in Webster's dictionary, and it says: Good judgement, learning, knowledge. All of those come with living.
Thanks for a great question! Give that man a star!! :)

I think discernment is the key element here.
A wise person will weigh up a situation before responding to it.
When we are young we can be very reactive. This does not allow time to really see all the facts before jumping in. Often, this can be to our detriment.
Wisdom may be gleaned in time with experience, however, there is no garentee that time will grant us wisdom. Much depends on our ability and willingness to learn.

The Bible's definition of wisdom is quite simple: to fear the
LORD, to avoid foolish people and to walk away from evil.
By the way a fool is someone who claims that there is no God
