hi i am new in wow(world of warcraft) and i was wondering wut is the best thing to be.and wut is the best gender to be for it(example gnome dwarf). thanks

Play what you want, every race has insignificant stat difference, and different Racial Bonuses.
Selecting a class is a far more difficult choice. Every class has strenghths and weaknesses. Go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com, and they have a complete class guide and beginner's guide that will help you get started.
And ignore what people are saynig about being addicted. the game is only addicting if you let it be. I've been playing for almost 4 years now and don't consider myself addicted.

well for race its about opinian and each race has its own ability such as perception for humans. For class heres the breakdown,priests level up fast cus everyone wants them in the group for dungeons,mages suk at low lvls but get a whole lot better at lvl 30 or 40 and do tons of DPS.warriors are a very good and easy class to pick because people need you in groups, u do tons of damage, u can wear all types of armor, u can use every type of weapon, so its a ballanced class. i dont know much about warlocks but i know they have great dps and a pet. hunters are another good class they can kill something 5 lvls higher cus of their pet. shamans are way overpowered and they rock and rouges are great too cus they can tank or do DPS.paladins can heal and fight so they are good. you choose wich is best 4 u.

go Rouge dwarf because they can stone ..or a nightelf because there fast ....WARNING : World of Warcraft is addicting!!!!

shaman is a relatively easy class to play or warrior if you just want to slash and dash.
For shaman be a dhrami (spelling) for warror be a bull guy

deffinitely be a rogue.... idk what race u should be tho, i dont think it matters but im usually either a human or a dwarf.... so be a rogue for sure!!
