Yes, just like there is a responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages.

People can consume drugs and alcohol without automatically becoming addicts.

Yes, I would also repeal all drug laws. They are an infringement on civil liberties. It isn't up to the govt. to play nanny and decide what you can or cannot do with your body.

Yes, it is possible. For some people it's easier than others. If drugs were decriminalized {as they all once were}, then at least there would be only the stigma to overcome.
Not every drug is equal though, some are much harder to stay in control of than others. Though, I think even heroin has had one or two responsible users.

Yes I do think so. I believe that most of the crime that arises from drug use is because it is illegal. I also believe that people would be more likely to seek help for their addictions if their addictions were legal. Alcohol and tobacco are both legal and finding help for beating those addictions is readily and easily available. Get rid of the laws and let the people who need help get it. Those who want to use drugs as recreation should be able to, just like we use alcohol.

I guess I am going to be in the minority here, but I think NO. We could go on and on about whether some drugs should be legalized, it is a subject that causes a lot of debate and people are very passionate about their views no matter which side they are on. The bottom line is they are not legal, and in my opinion (everybody has one), they should stay that way.

Joanna, I most certainly do believe that there are many folks who can and do use drugs responsibly and/or recreationally. Majority use pot and myself I would like to see it decriminalized so that not so many kids are receiving criminal records over this substance.

Yes, just like alcohol, some people are mature enough to use them and some are not.

I'd change them all. They don't work, fill our prisons and waste Billions in tax dollars!
