This is different for everybody. I like the sound of the outdoors so I get CD's of waterfalls or rivers or birds or wind or rain that works for me. Some people like classical. others like rock and roll. You will have to figure that out for yourself. Sorry I cannot help you here.

If you cant concentrate with music while studying, then it is probably not a good idea for you to study with music; everyone is diffrent. If you need music to study then I would suggest classical music (instrumental) because that way you won't be tempted to sing along with the lyrics and loose focus from your school work. Enya is also a good relaxing artist that you could listen to.

I have a hard time studing w/ music. When I was younger my sister would be in the other room (talkin on the phone or watching TV) So I use the white noise from the TV in my room to block all the noises in the house.
