I was working with two realy nasty pieces of work, and they live together as a couple, they both work part time, one had two kids from a previous relationship and of course she has a council house. anyway she hasn't told the benefits people that she has had someone else living there as her partner for well over a year, and as a result the pair of them earn over twice what I do, even though I work fulltime and they are both part time. This country sucks for benefits, and I am sick of paying for people who are just too lazy to work when they are able. I am happy to pay for those who legitamitley can't work, but would I be harsh in telling the benefits people of their little scam? It doesn't hurt that I don't like them both either.

It's quite irrelevant if you like them or not.
I'd consider it my responsibility to report them. When you realize the frequency with which people do this, you owe it to yourself, & others to expose such scams. You can at least make a "dent" in this abuse by getting involved.

Yes you should! Whether you like them or not doesn't come into it. Remember that it is you and I that are paying their benefit. It doesn't come from thin air. As someone else said, they are laughing at the rest of us. So go ahead with a clear conscience. Do it anonymously and tell no-one - not even your best pal. And then forget all about it. When they get pulled up for it, I don't expect them to be stupid enough to even mention it. to anyone. They won't normally do that as they will be too busy trying to shuffle around trying to get out of a large bill.

Yes because what they are doing is sponging off the state. It's clear theres nothing wrong with them and why should you keep paying taxes for this? It would get me mad too because theres no legitimate reason for doing it except greed. Make the call.

Yes, get in touch with the benefits agency, what they are doing is illegal, you can make the call anonymously, no questions asked. These people are cheats and they are robbing genuine claimants and also the legitimate taxpayers !

I don't see why not.....after all, by working, you are helping to fund the benefits they're claiming!! You can do it anonymously, so don't worry about it! Go ahead and do it! It's this sort of people who ruin everything for those who geuinely need benefits!

They are stealing from ordinary people who work hard and pay their taxes. Definitely report them - I would and have done this in the past.
You can do it here if it's easier than calling:

There's kids involved mind, so even though you want to piss them off I'd maybe think twice. You wouldn't want to really ruin a family would you? Warn them or something. If it wern't for the kids i'd say yeah.

Yes. I think it would be reasonable to snitch. It is fraud and they should not be allowed to make false claims when other needy people desperately need help.
