i've often thought about that wonder if it's not that good things happen to those that way moreso than less bad things happen because they do wait.
Patience is a strong virtue and if you possess it, you are ahead of the game in many respects. In the end I do believe good things do come to those that wait because they take the time to figure it out all and make better informed decisions.

I'm not sure about good things but I know bad things happen :) There was a guy my husband worked with who was a royal jackass. He sold us a car that broke down within a month and didn't even apologize (technically since he hadn't yet gotten around to having the safety check done we could have backed out but we didn't because we didn't want to cause work tension). He did some slick things grading my husband so that he was delayed in getting promoted. He stole a debit card and took $200, he stole from the petty cash fund, he told my husband that he hated his stepdaughters (who were 10 and 8 and whom he had been father to since 2 and birth), he generally was just a idiot and mean to everyone around him.
Well a year passes and he's still hateful and then suddenly he gets into a wreck with his brand new car - $1000 deductible cause it was his fault. Right after he gets it back from the shop he gets in ANOTHER wreck, his fault and the car is totaled and he still owes on it. He's missing items that he signed for at work so he has to pay $2000+ to replace them, his oldest step daughter runs away and when caught by the police tells them how he threatens them, punches walls, makes her babysit her 3 sisters all the time while he and mom go out (she's only 12 and the others are 9, 4 and 2). The police make him leave his house and his wife packs up the kids and moves away, leaving him with alimony and child support payments. Everyone at work hates him so much that no one will talk to him and he is left friendless and almost penniless.
I ALMSOT felt sorry for the guy...

Good things happen to those who wait that participate in the process to get what it is that they are waiting for, in other words nothing comes to those that sit and do nothing to help their cause no matter how long the wait.

Yes, but not to those who wait too late. Meaning don't let a good thing pass you by while you are waiting for something better to come along.

Yes, all the time. Trust me it does. Only catch here is that you should want it to happen, with all your heart. For me anything that i wanted badly to happen, DID happen and still does. That's the law of nature. YOU WANT IT, YOU GET IT. Good or bad. We often feel that it doesn't because our mind believes the negative side more. If you cling to the negative ,then that happens too.. Get it?
