I would be surprised if he left - unless he sees the writing on the wall that the Yankee Dynasty is over..........
Maybe the Rockies.........not Seattle or Texas for sure.......

If he leaves New York it would not be for the money. Winning is what he really wants to do staying put might be his best bet. All the other teams mentioned except for the Angels, and the Mets are rebuilding. He is still young, but he is an injury away from taking time off his clock.
American league is his best fit, but with the level of pitching in the NL hell he might hit 70 homers next year. Only time will tell what offers are put on the table. Remember he was looking at San Fran really hard, so that might be his intentions.

San Fran because they need a new identity and have money left over. Both are because Bonds is leaving
Chicago because Lou Piniella is there and because it's rumored he may want part ownership and they are in the process of being sold anyway (I think)
LA/California/Anaheim/ Whatever Angels because they can afford him and need a big offensive splash.
NY Yankees because he will be the biggest star if he stays in NY. Not the Mets, though because that would be waaaaay too much pressure for him. Mets fans are starving for a championship and would all the hope on his shoulders. I don't think he could handle that (although not too many people could)

A-Rod has proven time and again that while he plays for big money ,he's not a big money ballplayer. Any team that wants to WIN playoff games and possibly a World Seies should run away from him. Any team that would be happy just to get TO the playoffs should take him. .Let him go to Milwaukee

I think he goes to the Mets.
The reason why is because the Mets can afford him, and I think he likes New York, but just not the Yankees.
Plus he is a great fit for the Mets.
I Would keep him at 3rd, and Move Wright to second (I know this will never happen but it would be nice )

It will never happen but imagine if he went to the Brewers. They might actually win the whole thing. Imagine the production you might get 115 Homers between A Rod, Fielder, and Braun

I would love to see him go to the Cubs, Mets, or Red Sox. I think the Angels and San Fran are most interested, though. We shall see in a few weeks, hopefully. And, I predict a HUGE offer!!!
