No, when my daughter was in High School [ Sophomore ], she was still playing with her Barbie Dolls and had all sorts of stuffies, her decor in her room did change from Care Bears to a Jungle Scene [ she loved animals ] she was not into Tye dye [ that was for the boys / she said ], and posters of all her favorite stars..
The Barbies and the stuffies where past down to her girl later on.
All through her teens she was a typical teenager, just had things she like to do at home. Some of her girlfriends loved coming over and playing Barbie with her. They never laughed at her..

i don't see it as too much a problem that you like the same things as you did as a twelve year old but i would hope that you have also developed new interests too
however, when i think of style i think of how you dress and present yourself - and to be honest this really should evolve and develop - you should be trying new looks and fashions - it should be fun to find what suits your new body shape as you develop and grow -
embrace the changes and perhaps keep the stuffed toys and dolls at home in your room but try to dress a little more like a young lady or at least a young adult

What's wrong with that?
Why not look in to a career as a toy designer? Somebody somewhere has to get paid money to come up with new toy designs, new ideas for room decorations, and new ways at looking at the world in a fun way - so why not have it be you making the big bucks creating new toys?
You are not alone, hey, I'm way older than you and I still collect Fairy dolls for my Christmas tree! Young women in Japan are serious collectors of animation characters like Hello Kitty and now Tinkerbell is way popular there. Twenty-somethings in Tokyo dress up like little kids when they go out on the town as a way to release themselves from the very strict dress and ethic codes at work.
I was always the one in school who never believed that being grown up meant focusing my interests on sex, drugs, alcohol, and rock and roll. To this day my former classmates are all on their second and third spouses with five kids from five different fathers. I am still married to my first husband who doesn't mind my collections of toy animals, fairy dolls, shells my daughter and I find at the beach, marbles in jars, pretty rocks, oh, everything is interesting in this world!
It doesn't take much to be a toy designer or advertising art director. You need at least a 2-year degree in Art with a strong graphic design background. Even if you think you can't draw, toy designers need copy writers to write background stories and scripts for their characters. Some interior designers do not draw very well freehand but do wonderful with arranging physically visual imagery.
Enjoy the fun things you love for as long as you want. There's too many bitter people in this world. You don't have to become one of them if you don't want to just for the sake of being perceived as "grown up". Trendsetters are those who stick to their guns and firmly stick to their own personal style and let others follow.
Good luck and have fun!

they have way too plenty time.... this is not any longer a clean phenomenon, there is often been 'outcast' communities and distinct cliques in faculties - my dad talks the 'squirrels' and 'chipmunks' (something random like that, do no longer ask, a variety of communities have been bikers, the others have been nerds...he's previous) i think of the internet performs an excellent place. incredibly everyone needs to be nicely-commonplace and stand out. so as that they locate somebody who stands proud, and replica the look...and then incredibly everyone has the comparable look. I disagree with you stereotyping human beings. Who says, 'scene' hair is for 'emo' little ones in uncomplicated terms? i've got seen a lot of adults, 20 somethings and youth all wearing the 'scene hair'. And why does it make a difference if a 'prep' dyes her hair and is going with a 'scene haircut'. i think of the posers are the persons who stay interior of their stereotype purely so as that they 'slot in'. purely handle it till you get out of high school. After highschool 'BFFs' destroy up, cliques separate/amalgamate, incredibly everyone starts to define themselves. human beings understand that pot is lame and extreme ingesting will make you fat. In extreme college, i became into stereotyped as quiet. So, i attempted to mixture in, act quiet, gown popular, etc. once I have been given out of high school, i found out that i'd desire to speak returned. and that i began wearing despite clothing I cherished. and that i'd desire to speak with the 'cool little ones' who did no longer confer with me in extreme college. And no person relatively cared anymore. i'd desire to bypass to college dressed goth the next day, and then the next day i would be a hippy - and if i've got self belief like wearing those clothing, no person will care. in short, stop worrying. If a prep clothing goth next week, ignore approximately it. What difference does it make if the prep decides to positioned on black and spikes?

I'm sorry, but yes that style should go out the window. You need to become more mature. Your style reflects your maturity/responsibility and your style says IMMATURE! So go to the Gap and by some classic styles.

If you love your style, than don't change it. It doesn't matter what other people think, only what you think as long as your not hurting other people by your style, than no it's not wrong. I can't see how it would offend other people, and if it does, than forget them. Their not your true friends.
