Regardless of how long you have been married,
whether its 1 month or 50 years....
Would you ever cheat on your wife with her best friend?
And if you have, why did you do it? Was it sexually
motivated or were you missing something emotional
in the marriage that you sought out in the best friend?

NEVER. That is very low. Been married 20 years.
I never even flirt with her friends out of respect - don't ever want her to think such a thing is a possibility. I have gotten some vibes from a few of them - so stay far away from them.

No I would never cheat on my wife with one of her friends. However you didnt ask if anyone has ever fantasized about one. Which in that case is yes I have had fantasies about a couple of my wifes friends and yes there were purley sexual. I dont know really why I had them or what they mean I guess its just cause I see them a lot and in some occasions nearly nude (bathing suits or underwear) and the mind begins to wonder what they would be like in bed. Also I was propositioned once to sleep with one while my wife watched however we didnt go thru with it. Anyways hope this helps.

I would never cheat on my wife with anyone and we've been married 21 years. Even if I were a cheating man, I am not physically attracted to her best friend, but because I don't cheat that point is moot.

I have been married for 9 years and would never think of cheating on my wife with ANYBODY. I worship my wife! I don't even think of other women that way when I see them. I made a commitment to her and I meant it. Those who are too weak to stick to a commitment should not be married. This is why the divorce rate is so high. I would not be able to cheat on my wife mostly because I know how it would feel if she cheated on me. I would not be able to handle it.

Qualifier - I have cheated in the past, but not with one of her friends. There's a lot I'm not proud of in my past and it took a lot of work to get over my own selfish behaviors.
And that's why I did it, because I was selfish. At the time I didn't care if anyone was hurt as long as I got what I wanted.
I've since had a change of attitude (and have emotionally grown). I got tired of hurting others, not to mention taking the chances of contracting STDs.
I have and continue to make amends to my wife. She does know (I told her). Our marriage of 30 years is now stronger than it's ever been, but it took a lot of work on both of our parts.

I may be in a sex starved marriage but need for intimacy is different from trying to hurt your partner as much as possible.
This would be probably the meanest most hurtful thing a spouse could do.

Banging my wife's best friend is way too cold blooded for me! Not to mention that this so called "friend" is even more of a scum bag to allow it to happen in the 1st place. Cheating is bad enough but at least have the decency to do it away from home with some one your spouse doesn't know. Sorry, but that offense would be an automatic divorce in my book!

29 m - Married almost 3 years. No I would not cheat on my wife. But it is an emotional issue. Not purely sexual.

I am a slow learner!! Cheated on 1st wife, I heard she cheated on me,(she did) that ended that marriage!!! I got luckey and got custody of the kids a year later!!! They kept me balanced thru the rest of my life!! 2nd wife, I'll never cheat!! she's great, not a cheat, good lady, I don't chase chhese when I've got steak!!!! life is good!!
